Speed vs Quality

Coffee Time - E02

Coffee Time with Bruno, Chris and Tim.

Episode2

Tim:

This is our second episode of trying to talk about vaguely interesting things and hopefully, some sort of video podcast situation. We're still trying to figure it out. We're not quite sure yet.

First episode, we looked at some Super Bowl ads. Today, we have some sort of discussion topics we're going to go through here.

One of the topics we're talking about today is speed versus quality. So how do we maintain quality while also having tight turnaround times, while having fast speeds? And in particular, how do we balance speed versus quality?

Chris:

Well, I like to be diplomatic and sit between you guys. I mean, one important point is that quality doesn't always mean high performance. And some clients recognize that some clients recognize it, but still want high quality because they might be larger and have a brand team that have more, I don't know, purview over things. It really depends on the client, right? Like, I think what is true is that quality doesn't always mean performance, but there are multiple different stakeholders depending on the clients. And some people just want really high quality stuff. And some people, quite honestly, don't give a crap about that, and they'll go low quality because it can drive high performance.
