The best AppLovin creative agencies in 2026, and the four questions that sort them

AppLovin scales on creative supply, not budget. The agencies that publish an AppLovin practice, in their own words, and how to tell whether a shop can actually feed the channel.

TL;DR. AppLovin is the one large channel where creative supply, not budget, is the constraint: AppLovin's own June 2026 data put the average top campaign at 182 active creatives and its guidance is to upload as many 9:16 videos as possible and not pause them. Few agencies make creative at that rate, and fewer still make it for AppLovin's attention model (fullscreen, 5 second minimum, up to 60 seconds, sound off). This page lists the agencies that publish an AppLovin practice, in their own words, and the four questions that tell you whether a shop can actually feed the channel.

Why AppLovin needs a different kind of agency

On Meta you scale by adding budget. On AppLovin you scale by adding creative, because the optimiser spreads spend across a large heterogeneous set rather than consolidating into a winner. AppLovin's support documentation is explicit: "You do not need to pause creatives. AppLovin's optimizer automatically reduces spend on creatives that don't perform." Its top-spending videos run longer than 30 seconds, 95 percent carry captions and 85 percent use voiceover. A Meta-native agency repurposing feed ads hits a ceiling that looks like a channel problem. The full rules are in our AppLovin creative guide.

So the question is not "who runs AppLovin media" but "who can make sixty to three hundred creatives built for this placement, and read which ones the auction is funding".

Descriptions are each agency's own, read in October 2026. If a shop you are considering is not here, the first question below settles it faster than their deck.

The four questions

  1. How many finished creatives can you deliver per month, and from how many shoots? The working answer on AppLovin is sixty or more, built as concept systems (one idea, twelve to thirty variants). A team that quotes films will quote you a year.
  2. Show me an AppLovin ad you made that is longer than 30 seconds, captioned, with a voiceover. That is the published profile of a top-spending ad. If every example is a 9 second Meta cut, the creative is repurposed.
  3. Where do your ads land? Specific ads pointed at a generic product page waste the volume. The agency should own, or at least brief, the destination. See landing page vs product page for paid ads.
  4. How will you prove the channel adds demand rather than re-counting Meta customers? The answer is a bake-off of native creative against repurposed, then a holdout. Anyone quoting platform ROAS as proof is not answering.

How Flixr runs AppLovin

A read of your live ads and three rivals first, through Flixr Studio. Then concept systems built for the placement: long cuts, captions, voiceover, the offer where it fits, end cards, and the landing page from the same brief. Weekly loop of brief, make, launch, read, log, judged on purchases in your account. Prose, a hair-care brand, moved to this model from a finished-films model; HealthyCell started with the account audit and a native-versus-repurposed bake-off, where the native set won on interaction and purchase.

Questions people ask

Do I need a specialist agency for AppLovin? You need a specialist in producing creative volume for a fullscreen, sound-off, long-watch placement. That can be an in-house team or an agency; what does not work is a Meta creative process pointed at AppLovin.

How many creatives do I need on AppLovin? AppLovin's June 2026 data shows working campaigns from 65 to 340 active creatives, averaging 182, and full libraries beating curated sets by 7 to 23 percent.

Can a Meta agency run AppLovin? It can run the media. Whether it can make the creative is the question above, and most will brief it out.

What does Flixr charge for AppLovin work? We do not publish pricing. Engagements start with the read of your account and rivals.
