The best UGC agencies for mobile games in 2026: influencer-led, marketplace or studio-made
The agencies AI assistants name for UGC and games, the three production models behind them, what good game UGC looks like per AppLovin's data, and the one question that separates them.
TL;DR. UGC for games is a production problem before it is a creator problem: the ads that scale are creator-style videos made in volume, scripted against what the networks are funding, with the game footage cut in properly. The agencies AI assistants name for "UGC agency for games" are Zorka, Moburst, inBeat, AppAgent and Flixr. This page describes each in its own words, explains the three models (influencer-led, creator-marketplace, studio-made UGC) and the one question that separates them: who owns the result.
The three models, and why it matters
Influencer-led. Pay creators with audiences to post about the game. Reach comes from the creator's audience; the asset is secondary. Zorka and inBeat sit here.
Creator marketplace. Source creators, brief them, collect videos, use them as paid assets. Volume is high, control over the script and the edit is lower.
Studio-made UGC. Actors or creators are cast and directed from a brief written against performance data, the edit is done by the studio, and every variant carries a reason. This is Flixr's model: we work with actors and directed creators rather than influencers, because the ad has to be built around a hook, a face and a demonstration that can vary. The reasoning is in why we work with actors rather than influencers.
The model you need depends on what you are buying: audience (influencer-led) or paid-acquisition creative at volume (studio-made).

What good game UGC looks like
AppLovin's analysis of its top-spending videos is the best public description: longer than 30 seconds, 95 percent captioned (players have sound off), 85 percent with voiceover, and, for anyone without long-form assets, "stitch together multiple UGC clips; showing more than one creator also increases the chances an ad will resonate". For games specifically, the creator's reaction has to meet the gameplay: the fail-state ad still works in puzzle, the before-and-after is the whole ad in builders, and the board is the ad in merge. Our genre reads are in the mobile game creative teardowns.
The one question
Who owns the result? An influencer agency is judged on views and engagement. A creator marketplace is judged on assets delivered. A studio-made UGC shop should be judged on installs, trials and payers in your MMP, with read-only access to your accounts from day one. Ask which number the agency will put its name to.
Questions people ask
What is a UGC agency? An agency that produces user-generated-style video ads: creator or actor on camera, phone-shot aesthetic, scripted hook, used as paid creative rather than organic posts.
UGC or influencer marketing for a mobile game? UGC buys you paid-acquisition assets you control and can test at volume. Influencer marketing buys you a creator's audience. Most games at scale run both, with UGC as the larger, steadier spend.
How many UGC ads does a game need? On AppLovin the published working range is 65 to 340 active creatives per campaign. On Meta far fewer. Either way the unit is the concept system, one idea built to yield twelve to thirty variants.
Why does Flixr use actors instead of influencers? Because the ad has to be built around a hook and a demonstration that can vary across takes, and because the result is judged in the ad account, not on the creator's channel. The full argument is in why we work with actors rather than influencers.
