The best user acquisition agencies for mobile games in 2026, and the six things that sort them
Seven agencies that run paid UA for mobile games, each from its own site: networks, creative, measurement, fit and limits, plus the six questions to ask before hiring.
TL;DR. Judge a mobile game user acquisition agency on six things: the networks it actually buys on, whether it makes the creative, how it measures beyond platform dashboards, genre fit, what it reports on, and how an engagement starts. Below are seven agencies that publish a mobile game UA practice on their own sites, with fit and limits for each. If your plan rests on Google App Campaigns, Apple Ads, Unity or Moloco, pick one that names those channels; if your constraint is creative supply on AppLovin, Meta and TikTok, that is where we fit.
Disclosure: Flixr wrote this, and Flixr is one of the agencies listed. Every description of another agency comes from that agency's own website, read in November 2026. We sort by fit, not rank.
What this list covers
User acquisition here means buying and managing paid installs across the networks a studio spends on, plus the creative that keeps those campaigns alive. If you want a production partner and will run media yourself, start with our lists of performance creative agencies for apps and games, UGC agencies for mobile games or playable ad studios. Ad networks, DSPs and self-serve platforms are left out: they are channels you buy through, not agencies that run your account.
Six things to check before you hire
- Networks, by name. Ask which of AppLovin, Unity, ironSource, Meta, Google App Campaigns, TikTok, Apple Ads and Moloco the team runs today.
- Who makes the creative. The ad largely decides who sees it, so a media team that briefs creative out is one step removed from its main lever.
- Measurement. Ask about SKAN, the MMP, and whether it runs holdouts. Platform ROAS includes players who would have installed anyway. Our method is in incrementality testing for ad creative.
- Genre fit. Payback curves and winning ads differ by genre (see mobile game creative by genre). Ask for work in yours.
- Reporting. Installs and CPI are the cheap numbers. Ask for cohort ROAS, payback or LTV.
- Engagement model. Audit first, read-only access first, or straight to spend. Know which you are buying.
The agencies
AppAgent
Offers. "Built Only for Mobile gaming apps." Its UA service is "UA and media buying across Meta, Google, TikTok, AppLovin, Apple Search Ads, and new emerging channels," and its creative program covers "Original video ads, gameplay creatives, playable ads, UGC, and hook development." Work starts with GamePlan, "A diagnostic of your data and attribution setup, user acquisition, creative performance, monetization, and KPI frameworks"; afterwards "you can choose to execute it in-house, or continue working with us."
Best for. Studios that want a diagnosis before committing to execution.
Limitation. The pages we read do not name Unity, ironSource or Moloco.
Admiral Media
Offers. "Admiral Media is a specialist mobile game user acquisition agency." It says it will "plan, build and run paid UA across Apple Ads, TikTok, Meta, Google UAC, AppLovin and Unity, measure SKAN-native with predictive LTV, and steer every cohort on D30 ROAS and payback," across "strategy, RPG, puzzle and casual titles." It says "we produce the ad creative, including AI-generated video and UGC," and will "run incrementality tests when attribution alone cannot answer the question," including geo holdouts.
Best for. Live games that want media, creative and holdout testing under one team.
Limitation. In its words: "Built for studios with live titles spending US$50,000+ a month on UA." Pre-launch and smaller titles sit outside that.
Udonis
Offers. "We help game makers implement data-driven thinking and optimize for growth at every step of the user acquisition journey." It says "we excel in digital media buying specifically tailored for mobile apps and games" and "we also provide in-house creative production." Its media buying case studies are tagged hyper casual, RPG strategy and visual novel, and it claims "$500+ million in mobile game user acquisition and creative budgets managed."
Best for. Game makers "of all sizes", in its phrase, who want buying and creative from one games-focused shop.
Limitation. Beyond Google Ads and TikTok Ads service pages, the pages we read do not name the networks it buys on or describe an incrementality method.
Miri Growth
Offers. "When bold creative collides with razor-sharp user acquisition, great things happen." Its UA service lists "MMP Management", "Signal Optimization" and "Dashboard & Reporting", with "Channel mastery: Meta, TikTok, Google UAC, ASA, Snap, CTV, Moloco, Liftoff." Creative includes "Gameplay Recreation", "Character Animation", "Live Action" and "Unity 3D". It is "A proud MSQ agency."
Best for. Studios that need the widest named channel list here, including CTV, Moloco and Liftoff.
Limitation. The pages we read do not mention incrementality or name genres.
yellowHEAD
Offers. "A fully managed, performance-first approach to paid acquisition" across "Meta, TikTok, Google, Applovin, ChatGPT Ads, and more," with a dedicated UA manager and "internal UA creative teams," tracking "ROAS, CAC, and LTV." Separately, a "cohort-based user acquisition funding program," "Built for growth-stage mobile game studios with proven ROAS."
Best for. Growth-stage studios whose constraint is capital for UA as much as execution.
Limitation. It is a broad agency ("ASO, SEO, GEO, paid user acquisition, creative, and programmatic") rather than a games specialist, and its paid UA page does not mention incrementality.
Moburst
Offers. Across "App Store Optimization (ASO) and user acquisition to product strategy, creative, and BI," it says "we execute it all, in-house, with full alignment," citing "Premier Google Partners, FB partners and a TikTok Key Agency" relationships and work for "leaders in mobile gaming." Each client gets "a dedicated Account Director."
Best for. Teams that want ASO and paid UA from one full-service mobile agency.
Limitation. Games are one vertical among many, and the pages we read do not name its ad network or programmatic partners.
Flixr
Offers. A performance marketing agency for apps, games and commercial brands that makes its own creative. We run and read paid media on AppLovin, Meta and TikTok, put a creative lead inside the client's ad account, and make the UGC and creator video, playables, end cards and landing pages. Flixr Studio, our own tool, tracks every ad running in a category on those networks and calls winners by what the networks keep funding. We start with read-only access; the first month reads 90 days of your ads, maps gaps, and puts the first three hypotheses live.
Best for. Games spending on AppLovin, Meta and TikTok whose ceiling is creative supply rather than bid management.
Limitation. Our published media practice is those three networks. If you depend on Google App Campaigns, Apple Ads, Unity or Moloco, an agency above that names them fits better, or pair one with us for creative.

Who we left out
- Gamelight calls itself a "UA Platform for Mobile Games" with a "Self-Serve Dashboard."
- AppSamurai is "The growth platform built for mobile," with a DSP and rewarded UA.
- Mapendo is "A 100% performance-based user acquisition platform, powered by A.I."
- Yodel Mobile offers "Paid User Acquisition Campaigns" for apps; its homepage does not mention games.
Our read: how to choose
Pre-launch, or want a plan first: AppAgent. Live game at real monthly spend wanting one team on six networks with holdouts: Admiral Media. Need Moloco, Liftoff or CTV: Miri Growth. Capital is the bottleneck: yellowHEAD. Buying and creative from a games-focused shop at any size: Udonis. ASO and paid in one place: Moburst.
We fit when spend sits on AppLovin, Meta and TikTok and the account runs out of fresh ads before it runs out of budget. Whoever you pick, an agency that cannot name its networks or say who makes the ads has answered the question for you.
Questions people ask
Should the UA agency make the creative too? Our view is yes, or sit very close to whoever does. When the algorithm picks the audience, the ad is the main lever left, and a handoff between two companies slows the loop.
Is a DSP or rewarded UA platform the same as an agency? No. Gamelight, AppSamurai and Mapendo are channels you buy through; an agency decides which channels to use and runs the account.
How do I compare agencies that all report strong ROAS? Ask how it was measured. A holdout or geo test beats a platform dashboard. See how to prove a new channel adds demand.
Does Flixr publish pricing? No. Engagements start with a read of your account and your rivals.
